Day 73: Counting the hours...tick tock, tick tock

Just one more day...

Day 73:

Right now, at this very moment mom and dad are having a "going home" party! Dad bought three gigantic cakes for three various floors that mom frequented and then...I guess they just wait.

As dad would say...only one more day and then we wake up and go. But now, I think he's saying, if we lived in Japan, we'd be 8 hours ahead so really, we just have to wake up!

"At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us"
Albert Schweitzer

I can hear my dad voice now saying, on behalf of our family, our extended hospital family and all of our dear friends, thank you all for rekindling moms spark.

  1. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its a new day and we cannot wait for this day, because the birds are singing the animals are dancing, and sensing good vibes. The TRR spirit is strong, moving forward with great anticipation of the Taylor's coming back to the compound.
Boise you have been such an amzing spirt to us all with your strength and accomplishments, but let us not forget all that Don has been through, and what he has accomplished himself. His love of family, friends and Teddy has made us all stronger for what we have to be thankful for, and those special moments in our lives. We are a family at TRR and stonger than ever, and we will always take care of our family here at TRR.

    May God Bless you all

  2. Well said Mike -- Don has been one great example of a devoted spouse and friend. There are so many lessons that we learn from Boise/Don's shared experience these past months.

We welcome them with open arms and hearts! Let the journey continue at TRR!

Safe travels up the hill -- it is a wonderful day -- indeed!

Blessings on us all - Donna/Kathy
