Day 70:
Mom is walking to Nordstroms!
Although dad wasn't there, Chelsea said that mom took not 7, not 8, not 9 but 10 steps! Wow, can't really "top" that news!
Dad has a busy day tomorrow getting ready for the big day on Friday. He's headed back to Prescott to do a few things around the house, exchange a car or two, install a few things and other miscellaneous things.
We were talking tonight in disbelief that we were even having this conversation about coming home! Dad said tonight he felt like he was in a dream.
Mom posted this today: "thank you dear friends for being so aware of my first week at home. i
think once the first week has passed, we will have a better feel for a
daily routine. i so look forward to seeing all of you. kathy, thank you for sharing your dad's wisdom on patience".
It really IS ALL about YOU (and Don), Boise! You call the shots and we'll be there! Have a fabulous day walking towards you-know-where! Tell Don you need a new Derby hat!!! And shoes, and outfit. . . . You ARE our Derby Royalty!
