Day 38: Great day!

Mom and Mike Stevens

Day 38:

Well, not much to report today other than a few other miracles. Doesn't that have a funny ring? I mean seriously...everyday mom is just mending, healing, surprising herself and all of us with her incredible moments and jaw dropping accomplishments.

Today her blood pressure was a bit low so they pardoned the physical therapy but were able to do vocational therapy. It's so interesting to hear they types of things they do...today she was learning how to use both arms and reaching them, moving them, teaching them how to move together.

She also was able to move her left elbow and left wrist on her own.

And...she was able to sit on the edge of the bed for two minutes while balancing herself!

Tomorrow Clay, (her son) will be out for a visit and seeing first hand her amazing transformation.

If you find any more pictures or have a funny story to share, please send them along! (stacy.krems@gmail.com). Also, if a picture, could you send in a .jpg?

Thanks to Team Boise for keeping her spirits so high and being an integral piece in her recovery!

  1. Zero Comments? seriously?! Okay, so we are all in reflection and in prayer. Boise, I am looking at the end of the day sky which is beginning to turn colors which means Spring-time is not far away. Which in turn, means New Beginnings. You and Don are beginning a new season...and while we are all watching you so closely, we see new beginnings for our own selves. Funny how that works, huh? Yes. A new season. Keep up the good work Boise and Don. You have a beautiful life before you!

  3. I like Phil and Kate's comments. Spring will bring a new chapter for you and Don. We all go through many chapters in our lives - many good, but some that challenge our faith and strength. It's a wonderful world, full of miracles and beautiful people. We all want you to come out and play!

    XOXO,
    Laurel & Ron Bailey
