Day 8: Surgery

Pretend there is a picture of mom and dad right here...
I'm on Dad's computer and we all know he still believes in carbon paper.
No suprise he doesn't have pictures! :)

Day 8: Seeing a beautiful sunrise this morning, we felt very encouraged that today would be a great day. And, it is a great day. Mom is alive hopefully dreaming some wonderful dreams.

About 5 hours ago we were notified that moms condition has worsened and required immediate surgery.

This was a life saving surgery and we are grateful to the surgical team.

Mom is alive and that is a beautiful thing.

  1. Thanks for the update on Boise.
It is a good day. Maybe not as expected but still a good day. Prayers continue from here.

  3. WE ALL KNOW THAT BOISE IS ONE OF THE STRONGEST WOMEN WE KNOW. SHE HAS AN INNER STRENGTH THAT IS SELDOM SEEN UNTIL SOME EVENT LIKE THIS OCCURS. I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT DON & BOISE WERE THERE FOR US WHEN WE NEEDED THEM MORE THAN ONCE, AND SHE HAS A LOT OF ANGELS WATCHING OVER HER AND THERE ARE MIRACLES EVERYDAY WHEN YOU LEAST EXPECT THEM. BOISE, YOU FIGHT HARD, FIGHT HARDER THAN YOU EVER HAVE.

    1. Boise- you are one extraordinary woman! You are being asked to dig deep to find the strength and courage to meet this challenge head on -- we love and support you -- and thank you for reminding us that prayer, positivity and people are a powerful force....know that all of TRR is 'pulling for you.'
